I installed the full set, increased weight brass version portal axle on my scx24 Deadbolt and am happy with the upgrade! You will have to reverse the power wires going to the motor because the portal axle reverses the rotation direction the wheels turn. This set puts on good weight down low to lower the center of gravity of the vehicle and are wider than the original axles. I'm happy with this upgrade!

Not sure about longevity, but currently I'm highly impressed. Super easy bolt on, minimal modifications needed.
For those wondering how different it looks than stock, there's a picture of a 100% stock rig, slightly modified one and the SUPER wide Bronco
